How to Create an Account on Timon

Traveling the world is exciting — but figuring out how to spend money abroad shouldn’t be a hassle. That’s why we built Timon: to help you make easy payments, manage your spending, and go cashless when you're outside your home country.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to creating your Timon account:

Step 1: Get the App

1. Visit www.usetimon.com

2. Click “Get the app.”

   • Android users will be redirected to the Google Play Store

   • iOS users can find Timon on the Apple App Store

Step 2: Sign Up

1. Open the app and tap “Create your account”

2. Enter your email address

   • A verification code will be sent to your inbox

3. Enter your phone number

   • A second verification code will be sent via SMS

4. Create a secure password

5. Set a 4-digit PIN

Step 3: Fill in Your Basic Details

You’ll be asked to enter the following:

• First name

• Last name

• Gender

• Home address

• Country

• State

• City

• Postal code

• Date of birth

Once you complete these steps, your account will be created and ready for KYC verification.
