Fund from Your Bank Account to Avoid Delays

At Timon, we are committed to making your transactions seamless, secure, and hassle-free. To ensure a smooth funding experience, we recommend transferring money from a bank account that matches your Timon account details.

This simple step helps us process your funds quickly and securely, reducing the risk of delays or extra verification steps.

What If You Receive Funds from a Different Account?

We understand that sometimes, you may receive payments from third parties. To protect your account and ensure compliance with financial regulations, we may need to verify the source of the funds before settling them.

What You’ll Need for Verification:

If the funds are from an individual:

  • Ensure the description states if the fund is a gift or a purchase.

  • Provide the sender’s bank name, account number, branch, SWIFT code (for USD), and sort code.

If the funds are from an employer:

  • Submit a payslip as proof of payment.

For NGN transactions:

  • Provide a transaction receipt along with the sender’s bank name and account number.

How Long Will Verification Take?

We know how important it is for your funds to be available when you need them. While we work as quickly as possible, verification may take up to 5 - 7 working days, after the necessary details have been provided. To avoid delays, we strongly recommend funding your Timon account directly from your own bank account.

Good news! verification happens only once for a particular account. After an account is verified and whitelisted, subsequent fundings from that account will not require verification.

Your Security and Convenience Matter to Us

Our goal is to keep your transactions safe, fast, and stress-free. By ensuring that deposits come from your own bank account, we can process them without interruptions, giving you the best possible experience.

If you ever have questions or need assistance, our support team is always here to help.
